This sprawling resort began years ago as two separate properties., and today it continues to have a split personality. The 'Riviera' section sits right on the ocean; its lush grounds are a shady alternative to the sunny beach. Across the road (accessible by tunnel or shuttle) the "manor" side is home to both traditional hotel rooms in the faux great-house and suites in primarily four-unit villas that share a common pool. Some villas are a quite distance form the public areas and the beach.
