The Heptones is a combination of Leroy Sibbles, Earl Morgan and Barry Llewellyn. This Jamaican music group had great success during the 1960s and 1970s like any other. With group member Leroy Sibbles was a studio arranger who also plays bass. This worked well for the group as the turned out good quality Jamaican reggae music. Sibbles Migrated to Canada in 1973 resulted to the detriment of the group. However the regrouped again in 1977 this time working with Lee Scratch Perry recording quite a few hits. The Heptones one of the more popular groups during the 1970s had done a lot for Jamaican reggae music.
