If you love nature and is up for a true Jamaican experience then the Black River Safari experience is for you. The Safari tour begins at 9am, when you will be picked up at your hotel in our air-conditioned bus to begin your day of adventure with nature.

Visitors will be told the rich history of the local area and region. The river plays and important role in the region, where the town so takes its name, Black River. The Black River safari is 8km/5mile boat ride where nature awaits you. Have your camera is ready to capture this unique moment, experiencing up close exotic wild birds and reptiles, you may even meet the wild crocodile the tour rep calls by name and it surfaces. At the end of the boat ride, visitors are given a tour of the preserve and reptile breeding program, where visitors will have the opportunity to see the wild life up close.

Black River is situated on the southern coast of Jamaica and getting there is an experience of its own. Many visitors to the island, do not get a chance to explore Jamaica’s un-spoilt landscape, and this tour allows visitor’s a unique opportunity, usually reserved for locals as a natural preserve.
