The Jamaican ginger is known to be of premium  quality on the world market today.  Although  this popular plant is native to Asia, the Jamaican Ginger is by far more pungent and aromatic than the others cultivated in other countries. The ginger is as old as history and is mentioned in ancient Chinese, Indian and middle writings including the Quran.
Today premium quality Jamaican ginger is used in a variety of dishes to world-famous  beers  to tea and everything in between. The eatable part of the Jamaican ginger is grown underground  and its botanical name is Zingiber officinale. However the name ginger came from the Sanskrit word “singabera” which means “horn shaped”. However, don’t be fooled by looks of this horny shaped root it is loaded with health and relief properties.
The Jamaican ginger is very good for the relief of motion sickness and the other things associated with it such as vomiting, nausea, dizziness, etc. The Jamaican ginger is also known to have anti-inflammatory, it protects against effects colorectal cancer, kills ovarian cancer cells  and it also has immune boosting action.
